Resource Room - Middle School
Recent Activity WELCOME TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL RESOURCE ROOM!
Our program offers a full range of services in Math, Reading, Written Language, Study Skills and Social Skills. The staff consists of Jane Uglick and Laurie Brown are our para educators and Ms. Amber Keith is the Resource Teacher. We provide support in the resource classroom as well as in the regular ed classes.
Some helpful hints to ensure students are successful include:
1) Bring Materials to class - paper, pencil, binder
2) Write in Planner daily - keep track of assignments
3) Use classtime well - finish work on time
4) Hand in completed papers - name and heading
5) Keep a positive attitude
Middle School students work on Study Skills and organization on a daily basis. Listening and following directions in six different classes is important for their success. Also, keeping their binders in order by subject and period helps keep track of their papers. We encourage students to get passing grades in all classes and to take ownership of their learning.
